Hello and Welcome

I'm Michaela. This is my place for my writings, my home, my thrift shop finds, and whatever inspires me.

Patience brings flowers

She can wait. Patiently and with confidence. To enforce and at any cost isn’t what she believes in. The price usually is much too high. And longanimity can bring many advantages. Pleasant anticipation is one of them just to name one. Kind of appetizer before main course. But nothing beats the uncertainty. Many sometimes strong emotions come with the dubiety. And when the time has come and uncertainty resolves in certainty she knows the confidence pays off. When she finally finds the bowl she has been looking and waiting for she enjoys her thrifty find even more than usual. But above all she sees in this last experience the confirmation that patience and confidence are truly powerful tools in life.

  • That is a lovely home for your flowers! It looks just perfect there on your table.

  • Wonderful message dear Michaela. You made my day with this, indeed patience and confidence are so needed in your life. How many times we aren’t patient and feel so insecure without confidence? I do often, why? Well we all search for recognition, confrmation etc. Thanks for this message (nice flowers too, love this color).

  • @NiceArtLife Ah yes, confidence.. for me it is often like a game. I mean I play the game. It’s kind of “do not think what could be”. Because for me just the thought is THE negative. Since most of the events (and of course none of the people) I can not control I try to stay in a let’s say *thoughtless space” mode. And training my game pays off. Sometimes it works and the feeling is great.

  • @Susannah And I like the color of the West Germany vase very much!
